Bar Enoteca Dante

Situated in Radda-in-Chianti’s historical Piazza Dante, Bar Dante belongs to Fabrizio Ferrucci, and his English wife, Carolyn.
Fabrizio returned to his home town in 1984, after travelling and working in the United States for three years, where he rose to become Maitre D’ in one of Washington D.C’s finest restaurants “La cantina D’Italia”. His natural exuberance and friendly nature make him the perfect host, and travellers are always made to feel at home on Bar Dante’s splendid terrace. Many just return for the house speciality, Bruschetta al Pomodoro, while the varied menu offers a great selection of other local dishes such as wild boar stew, pappardelle and “ribollita”, which are served all day by friendly, attentive staff. Local wines are naturally served by the glass to accompany these dishes, while delicious Panini are also available for take-away. Being Tuscan,  Fabrizio insists on the very best extra virgin olive oil for his “fett’unta”, and the finest Tuscan prosciutto from Pratomagno.
